VolunteHerO (pronounced ‘Volunteero’) is built on the belief that service does not end with retirement. The silent H represents Helping, and the O represents Others. Together they reflect a Heart for Helping Others. VolunteHerO celebrates current and former public safety professionals who continue serving their communities through volunteerism, mentorship, nonprofit leadership, and civic engagement.
Whether serving on nonprofit boards, mentoring youth, supporting veterans, coaching future leaders, or volunteering at local events, these individuals continue demonstrating that leadership extends far beyond a career.
VolunteHerO exists to recognize, inspire, and encourage a lifelong commitment to helping others.
